Yeah mate, good mate, ya know, she goes, she goes.

I hung out with the baminator last night, managed to cajole him into some RnR between spurts of creamy study juice.

Alright all you rabbits, here ya go:

Walking Checkers today was fun - good job, team. Also, I feel that kudos must go to the house of Heller (the house itself) for not burning down when Pete left the oven and stove on while we were out.

Top 5 guilty pleasures....

I've deleted most of the songs I'm ashamed of from my iTunes. So these are the least guilty of my guilty pleasures. I'm certain there are more and they're probably woefully worse than the below choices, if that's possible.

Don't Tell Me - Avril Lavigne: one song from my brother's selection that actually stuck
Make it With You - Bread: our London pal Danny got me hooked on this one
If You Want My Love - Cheap Trick: I maintain it's a fantastic song, but there's quite a high cheese quotient
Get Right - Jennifer Lopez: a terrible, terrible song with an amazing hook. I just want to dance every time I hear it. In fact, I usually do dance every time I hear it.
When I Get You Alone - Thicke: there are no excuses. This is just trashy, hilarious pop by the son of the guy who played the dad in Growing Pains

Special Mention goes to the album Lily by Wendy Matthews. I used to listen to it when I was 12 or something, and I still love it.

Jesus, i've been working all day and haven't even eaten yet.

My guilty pleasure album is Robbie William's first album, The Ego has Landed. It was one of the first albums i ever bought, and i still enjoy the songs on it. For a pop album, even the album tracks are killer material. My first albums also include Savage Garden's Affirmation, Marilyn manson's Mechanical Animals and Nine inch nails The Fragile. What an odd mix, yet all of them I maintain are excellent albums.

Top 5 Guilty Pleasure songs?
If I Only Knew - Tom Jones, on the album referenced in my avatar. When that heavily tanned Welshman belts out that big YEAAAAAH I get my groove on. I'll even ignore that weird bridge section where it goes all Enya.
I Hate Everything About You - Ugly Kid Joe. A truly abysmal song i just can't get enough of. I'm fairly sure the woman at the start of the song is an old SNL character eventually from the movie It's Pat!
Hallowed Be Thy Name - Cradle of Filth. It's actually an Iron Maiden cover, but I sheepishly enjoy this version more. Cradle of Filth are a laughable black metal band with the full theatrics. Fuck it, it's a cool cover, even though I'm completely aware how lame it all is.
Life is a Rollercoaster - Ronan Keating. Awesome. Hooky. it had me at Ronan.
Take A Look Around - Limp Bizkit. I'm seeing a pattern of shame from my early days of music enjoyment. This is that song that reworks the Mission: Impossible theme. It's just a good rock song, regardless of Durst's lame, lame singing/rapping.

EDIT: Holy shit, i just remembered a kick arse song that for some reason was not at the 90s party! Tonic - If you could only see. What a rad song! Ha!

Good evening, lovely boys (and woman).

Go forth and chuckle. I know I've pimped this bad boy out already, but I just love it so. It gets me through the day. Not today, because today was rad, but it's gotten me through other boring days.

Row-bear, guess what! I checked with Sean and I totally aggravated the same achilles I tore way back when! I can now say I have one of those injuries that can flare up occasionally! AWESOME! I'm only a few steps away from being a full man now.
Wanna know how I tore it originale?

I finally went to ze website lisa, and I did indeed laugh at the very first page.

Of course you did...it's hilarious.

For about 20 minutes today, I was totally high at work. Turns out I have a very low tolerance for mixing painkillers and cold & flu drugs. It was weird. Of course, it could have been all that meth I took this morning, but I don't think so.

That's quite an interesting little tale Lisa. Do you think maybe you should be mixing your meth with a bit more of a downer as well, to give you balance? Maybe some red wine? I think that would be more appropriate for work, don't you?

For those of you who give a shit, Venture Bros season 3 preview clip available at quickstopentertainment.com. Just go down and search in the little google bar "venture bros".

Oo! I just peeked over $4,000 in my savings. Huzah!
You know, Will Smith was dirtier when he was the Fresh Prince. This lyric in particular makes me happy:
I see the one that I want and say "Come here cutie," then flip her around and I WORK THAT BOOTY!
Fuc yeah yah do, givin' her Big Willy style, you sexy beast of a man. You are the black Tony Stark, William Smith. And you will be Hancock.

EDIT: zOMG! This is my hundredth post!

Damn, boy, you rich! Centrelink granted me youth allowance and rent assistance, so soon I will be a high roller like yourself and we can go to Crown and lose it all like suckers... or we can be mad dogs and win and double our figures and a man in a tuxedo and an earpiece will approach us and say "Mr Symes, Mr Green. The Manager would like you to come with me" and we would be led into a special room exclusive to mad dogs and there would be naked women making out in a pool of bank notes.

I don't like babies. They freak me out. As do miniature versions of anything bigger.

I downloaded the Lost Highway soundtrack. Bowie and Reznor!

What about little bottles of booze? They're adorable. And those little Melba toast thingies? They're just like real toast, only tiny! Do cupcakes freak you out? Because, I hate to be the one to break it to you, they're just miniature cakes.

Trent Reznor is amazing and brilliant.

Re: General Chatter

Post  SimonJ on Thu May 22, 2008 4:07 am

That baby is a born boxer. Look at the speed of his hands! They blur! Alexander is ready to duke it out in the MGM Grand, at first an underdog, then the world's greatest, but he gets arrogant and the world turns on him and his boxing becomes mean spirited. Soon, he's put in his place, but the match is fixed against him by a Russian opponent. However, Alexander the Great trains hard, visits a zen temple and is taught the importance of being calm and central. He saves a small woman from a village nearby, but the village is enraged and comes after Alex the Great. Alex boxes him in his new, calm style. Upon his return to the western world, he's married the small woman and boxes the match of his life. He wins back the world title and donates it to charity. The organisers of the matches are enraged but they can't do anything about it because they'd look like meanies if they complained, so they have to go and have a new belt made. Alexander the Great gets this new belt and cleverly rules the world from his seat of power in Black Mountain.
Your cousin is bound for great things Lisa. Great things.

And yes. Yes we will be taken to a spa of money and bitches. Bitches that bite. king
And melba toasts are so good they were actually made a part of the periodic table, between seaborgium and bohrium.
"If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason." - Jack Handey

And last, but certainly not least, Trent Reznor is my favourite person.

UPDATE!: You may have noticed on your facebooks that I've been spreading around teh word of Jack handey. While doing so, i discovered one of his sketches from SNL, the Unfrozen Caveman Laywer. I also found that at the end, they'd have fake sponsors. One of them was, to me, so very hilarious, that I had to share it. I laughed for a quite a while.
Today's episode brought to you by "Big Fat Bean" ("Why eat a lot of little beans when you can eat one big bean?")

ASTROLOGICAL DOUBLE UPDATE!: You. Must. Read. These.

I think that Cate Blanchett may be the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.

And Shia LeBeouf's pathetic attempt to hijack the Indiana Jones franchise will still never compare to River Phoenix's performance as Young Indy in Last Crusade.

I may also want to marry Barack Obama. He is amazing.
