Bwaaaa hahahahhaha! I just love that you were even trying to psychically shrink a beam of light in the first place, regardless of whether you then believed it was working. The night Lisa's paycheck cashed. Sha na na na na na na na na na. Glory beeeee!

My nana loved my spiffy new jumper. She reacted more positively towards it than anything else I've ever shown her, and I've shown her this:

I'm coming from work. Otherwise it'd be a rush to get home, and a bigger rush to get to the flicks.Which is a pity, because (while adorable) my work outfit is not my ideal movie-going ensemble.

Column A and Column B sweet cheeks. Say, have you ever... ever felt like this?

By the by, I spent a lot of money on clothes today. 3 items. A black jacket that looks very good, a purple flannel that we probably looked at together at Highpoint that time, and a new pair of jeans that I actually did need because all my cheap shitty target jeans have fallen apart. plus, they were $30. Everything else was not.

Oh Mossimo, I clearly love your brand...but my god will I look good.

I remember the purple flannel! That was rad! Mossimo is great. I used to love it when they were my brand (when I was a myer schlub we got brands to take care of). Mossimo made cute knits. Their knits and tees were always good. Except for the ugly ones, obviously.

I have had a weird day. Again, no work done. Tripped over a floorboard and spilled coffee down my top and on my shoes (by the grace of Beelzebub, it missed my skirt). Sat in the park in the freezing cold with no coat and watched half of The Way We Were on my lunch break. Accidentally flung one of my shoes half way across the office, and banged my head on my desk. Weeiird day. But hilarious in its strangeness.

That makes me laugh. What an oddness, like you've been mildly cursed. Perhaps you sat on a fairy. Been catching up with any gay men. Ha.

I must remind you to send me the video tests your chum did, out of my own interest.
Bambi is home studying, Kim is off to the radio and I'm having my pump. Doobeedoo.

I've just been a klutz. And I'm normally a klutz, but it's remarkably acute today.

I'll see if I can get the movie thing from my brother at some point. It was his friend who did them. He dropped out of uni to pursue some acting gig in Sydney, but he shouldn't be hard to track down. I remember the screenplay has flashbacks. That's about all I remember - I wasn't really involved. I mostly liked it because it was my story, and I'm a narcissist.

Doobedoo indeed.

edit: Because I couldn't be bothered making a new post....You guys are champs. Good cleaning job on the apartment.

I did the dishes!

And an interesting note: I just learned that Jon Favreau, director of Swingers is the director of Iron Man, which we are seeing tomorrow night. I'm not gonna lie, I'm fuckin' pumped for this.

The dishes were especially well done. I like the way they were stacked.

Jon Favreau also directed Elf. I love Elf. Zooey Deschenel (or however you spell it) is adorable.

Woo! Iron Man!

I was slightly surprised by Elf. I watched it with my 8 year old cousin once, expecting it to appeal only to her. But Will Ferrell still managed to make me giggle during times that kids were completely oblivous to his comicality.

You're right - it definitely works on different levels. Although Will Ferrell could read a yellow pages and I would giggle.

That's awesome. You know what else is awesome? The Way We Were. I never really got the Robert Redford thing before I saw this movie, but he is one sexy motherfucker. I just nearly spilled my dinner because he looked at the camera.

How goes the homework, Lucas?

I just cooked a curry and am eating it currently. Then I will be doing some washing. And then I will be writing a report which is due tomorrow. Then I might watch a DVD, depending where the night leads me.

I have an idea for a new topic, stay tuned.

I don't want to say that this is anti-climactic, but it's...um....a bit anti-climactic.

Although I'm sure it's going to be a kick ass topic.

Lisa, if Kim is home, would you mind asking her if I left a bag in her boot with some jeans in there? I probably lost them, I do things like that.

I also hear you're a good co-pilot on the clothes shopping circuit, Lisa.

Kim's over at Heller street, methinks. I'll leave a note on the fridge. Actually, I can't get out of bed...It's too cold!! Maybe you should just message her.

I've got mad shopping skillz. I love shopping for other people. And I hopefully absorbed some useful knowledge after four years at Myer, aside from the ability to ably falsify congeniality while hungover. I at least know pants sizes. We had to learn them quickly, because apparently men don't know what size anything they wear. Not shoes, not underwear, not shirts. I once had a 40 year old guy ask what size underwear he'd need.
